TeleTube©
TeleTube® is a product family of different geotextile tubes produced from high strength tenacity textiles.
TeleTube® family consists in two types of tubes:
• TeleTube® for coastal erosion and marine applications
• TeleTube® for dewatering and industrial purposes
Both these TeleTube® are custom made and available in several dimensions. Types of fabrics depends on the project and customer’s needs.
TeleTube® for coastal erosion and marine applications:
Erosion of coastline is a widespread universal problem throughout the world. Water bodies are continually changing or eroding the coastlines. Eco-friendly structures are today the preferred choice in mitigating these forces that act against coastal habitat. With appropriate design and careful selection of coastal protection measures, the coastal erosion can be controlled to an acceptable limit or even reversed without
transferring the problem to others areas with the use of TeleTube®.
The size and shape of TeleTube® allow applications in a wide variety of situations:
• Shoreline protection
• Breakwater,
• Beach enhancement,
• Jetties construction,
• Containment dyke in case of land reclamation,
• Containment dyke for disposal of unsuitable dredge material,
• Submerged training dyke.
TeleTube® for dewatering and industrial purposes
In each indutrial process implying water, there is a need of a dewatering solution to treat the wasterwater. In dewatering applications TeleTubes are a reliable, economic and environment-friendly solution.
TeleTube’s main objective is to recycle waste rather than sending it to a landfill.
The solution consists in some TeleTubes in which are injected some sludge pumped from a waste storage area. Thanks to the filltration properties of the TeleTube textile, the sludge remains into the tubes and the water,
separated from the sediments, leaves the tubes. Once dry, solids contained into the TeleTubes are converted into a fillter cake which can be easily recovered.
TeleTubes are designed for the following dewatering applications:
• Sludge and chemical wastes of mines and chemical plants,
• Fly ashes of coal power station,
• Pulp paper slurry of paper mills,
• Wastewater of water treatment facilities,
• Oil refinery in dissolved-air filltration (DAF) units to separate oil from water,
• Dredged sediments of rivers, bays, lakes and harbours.
In addition to the products TeleTube, Tele Textiles offers consultancy and engineering services, based on its softwares and experiences to assist you and provide you a turnkey project as well as technical assistance during installation.
Tele Textiles provides solutions to significantly reduce pollution
within water environment. Whether you have polluted sediments in
suspension or at the sea/river bed, in liquid or solid state, Tele
Textiles helps you with specific design to solve your problem.
Our solutions are aimed to:
Control of polluted sedimentsLaid on the river/sea bed, TeleEnviro will cover the heavy metals
and polluted sediments at the bottom. Thanks to the filtration
properties of TeleEnviro, pollutants are confined and only water will
go through it.
Dewatering of contaminated sediments
Pumped at the sea/river bed, polluted sediments are then filtered
on site through the weaved mesh of the fabric. The contaminated
sediments keep stored in TeleTube or TeleBag while water goes out,
clear.

Piling is a deep foundation technique, which consists in drilling and driving into the soil some piles, according to a designed piling grid. Once driven, a pile cap is embedded within the heads of each pile to distribute the load on a larger area than a single pile can support.
A significant advantage of driving piles compare to drilling shafts is, at the same time piles are driven, the soil displaced compressed the surrounding soil causing greater friction against the sides of the piles, thus increasing their load-bearing capacity.
With the TeleTube, Tele Textiles offer a cost-effective alternative and efficient solution to steel pipes for piling and micropiling (or geotechnical) application.

When the problem is flood water in rivers and channels, the solution can be provided by TeleBags®, TeleTubes® or FlexiTex®.
In case of an emergency, secure the surroundings by using interlocked
TeleTube® which can be easily filled with sand slurry or simply use
TeleBags®. FlexiTex® can be installed at the toe of a bridge’s piles to
fight against water erosion and the possible collapse of the bridge.
If a flood barrier is required, it can be built out of
TeleTube®, covered with FlexiTex® and FlexiGrow®. The construction can
later be covered with natural vegetation.
Eroded riverbanks and channels can be repaired by using FlexiTex which will withstand the next flood.

solution
Coastal erosion is increasing as climate change brings more extreme
weather to our shores. Waves – generated by more windy conditions –
destroy land areas every day.
Wave-breakers, using either TeleTube® or TeleBag®, are
the solution. Once installed, the waves break and lose their energy
before the shoreline. Sediments carried by the waves will accumulate on
the other side of the tube/bag, raising the seabed up to the coast. In
this case, this solution is generally used for land reclamation
projects.
Tidal changes are also known to create coastal erosion. Here
the solution is FlexiTex® installed below the normal water level and
FlexiGrow® above.
